25 hoursLive education & coaching

10 hoursGuided self-directed learning

Who it helps

For new or developing RAI Coordinators and the LTC leaders supporting their onboarding, practical skills, and program performance.

How we help

Successful coordinators must manage complex workflows, support interdisciplinary teams, monitor data quality, interpret reports, educate colleagues, and help leadership translate clinical information into action.

Yet many newly appointed RAI Coordinators enter the role without access to experienced mentors or sufficient practical training.

iLTC Mentorship bridges this gap through a structured, three-month onboarding and mentorship program that develops real-world skills and confidence.

  • 25 hours of live instruction, coaching, and mentorship.
  • 10 hours of guided self-directed learning.
  • Practical tools, templates, and resources.
  • Individualized support tailored to the coordinator's experience and the home's needs.

Learning focus

  • RAI program responsibilities and workflows.
  • Assessment coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Data quality monitoring and auditing.
  • RUG-III+ and CMI monitoring.
  • Quality indicators and CIHI reporting.
  • Staff education and communication.
  • Problem-solving and program oversight.
  • Practical leadership and program sustainability.

Intended benefits

  • Stronger practical competency.
  • Greater coordinator confidence and independence.
  • Better support during onboarding.
  • More consistent RAI program processes.
  • Reduced reliance on already-busy clinical leaders.
  • A stronger foundation for staff retention and continuity.

The program complements formal interRAI LTCF coding education and does not replace required or recognized coding training.
